Minnesota Requires Electronic Claims by 2009 (and ALL transactions!)

In May of 2007, Minnesota pass a law requiring all providers, insurance companies and clearinghouses (covered entities as defined in HIPAA) to send all healthcare transactions (claims, eligibility and ERA) electronically by 2009.  Here is a fact sheet published on Minnesota's State website.  It reviews the law and gives the due dates for eligibility, claims and electronic remittance advice (ERA).  Of course with any big change, you want to be in the front end of getting compliant to avoid the rush.   Or, if you live in another state, you may be experiencing similar actions from government agencies or insurance companies.
If you need help with electronic transactions (claims, eligibility and ERA), we have a great solution for you.   The monthly fee for unlimited transactions is $114 per provider.  There is no setup fee and you can be up and running in about a week with commercial payers and two to four weeks with government payers.  Ready to get started?  Just complete this form and fax it back to 866-506-9681 or give us a call at 888-322-2455.
